How do we receive an invitation to participate in the National Show Choir Championship?

Your show choir will receive an invitation to participate in the Show Choir National Championship if it participates in one of the Qualifying Events and is one of the top 3 (three) finalists in the event.

When is the National Show Choir Championship and where will it be held?

The National Show Choir Championship will be held in the Spring of 2011 after each of the qualifying events have been completed.  FAME is working with Venues in Indianapolis, St. Louis and Cincinnati for a location to host the event.

What are the costs associated with participation?

Each Show Choir that is invited to participate in the National Show Choir Championship will be expected to get to the venue on their own.  After that, FAME along with sponsors of the event will cover the cost of participation at the competition as well as hotel accommodations for two nights.

Are chaperones that are with our show choir at the qualifying event also invited to the National Championship?

The number of participants in your group including members of the show choir, the band, directors and chaperones who attend the qualifying event will also be invited to participate in the Championship.  Show choirs will not be allowed to add additional participant numbers to the championship event, although additional numbers can be added at an additional cost.
